My name is Sue Anderson and I have been an educator in Anoka-Hennepin for 25 years. I teach fourth and fifth grade Humanities (reading & writing) I have a passion for teaching reading and writing as they are the foundation for all learning. I earned a Bachelor in Science degree from Augsburg College, Masters in Educational Leadership from Bethel University and a Doctorate from Walden University I also have a K-12 Principal Licensure from the University of St. Mary’s.
As an individual, education is important to me. I enjoy learning that applies to my teaching. Keeping up with the latest information on best practices in literacy helps me meet the needs of my students. It is exciting to see the sparkle in a child's eye when they get it or when they experience success in their learning. This is the joy in each day.
My husband, Bob, and I live in Champlin where we raised our three children, Sara, Corey and Jesse, who all graduated from schools in Anoka-Hennepin. I have 8 grandchildren which I dearly love to spend time with. I also enjoy reading and learning.
My passion is student’s success in learning. I am excited to work with your child and have the opportunity to share the love of reading.
Thank you for supporting your student's education! I am excited to work with your child and watch your child’s growth. Together we can help your child achieve success!
