Welcome to Mrs. Retterath's Website
Hello! My name is Rachel Retterath and I have been teaching science at Champlin Park High School since 2015. I graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota (Twin Cities) with a degree in horticulture & management. I earned my master's degree in education from Augsburg University. My favorite thing about teaching science is watching students have "aha" moments as they connect their learning to life experiences. Outside of the classroom, my experience working with students includes coaching dance team, tutoring in all subjects, and teaching reading & comprehension. Outside of teaching, you'll find me gardening, beekeeping, making crazy fermented foods, spoiling my pets, and spending time with family.
