• Welcome to my classroom website

This is my 13th year of teaching, but it's my 1st year at Northdale Middle School.  I graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Middle School Science.  I started teaching 6th Grade Science and Social Studies at Wayzata Central Middle School for one year.  I moved to Las Vegas and taught 7th and 8th Grade Earth and Physical Science.  While I was in Las Vegas, I earned my Masters Degree Technology Integration at UNLV.  Six years later, I moved to Worthington, MN where I taught 4th grade for three years.  Then, I became a technology integrationist for a district in Iowa for a year.  I decided to come back to MN and taught 3rd grade for one year in the ROCORI district.  I found I missed friends and family too much and made the move back to the cities and am blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of the Anoka-Hennepin Schools.

I enjoy anything in the outdoors: hunting, fishing, hiking (especially out west).  In the summers, I love playing softball, playing lawn games, and visiting friends that live outside of MN.

Thank you for supporting your student's education! I am excited to work with your child and watch their growth. Together we can help your child achieve success!
