Orchestra Hall Concert Series field trip introduces music options for students
(10/30/2024) From viola to flute or timpani to trombone, there’s little question that orchestra provides a full range of options to meet student interests. Introducing students to those options before their middle school years is facilitated through a districtwide field trip for fifth-grade students to experience the Young People’s Concert Series presented by the Minnesota Orchestra.

Update: Middle school program review continues; recommendations to be revised following Sept. 23, 2024 School Board meeting
(10/01/2024) The district will continue exploring opportunities for aligning new courses with state requirements while remaining focused on goals of the district for the 2024-25 school year. Middle schools will not implement a schedule change from the 7 period day to the 6 period day in the 2025-26 school year.
