COVID-19: Vaccine and testing options remain in strong supply for students
(12/17/2021) COVID-19 vaccines for ages 5 and above are offered at no-cost with no requirement for insurance at pharmacies and medical clinics in all areas of the district. Parent or guardian consent is required for COVID-19 vaccination for people younger than 18 years old.
Visit the easy to navigate vaccines.gov or the State of Minnesota’s Vax for Kids directory and register for appointments at CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Allina Clinics and additional locations.
A Community clinic operated by the State of Minnesota is also being operated at the Mall of America.
Anoka-Hennepin Schools continues to offer options for student at-home BinaxNOW test kits for COVID-19 through the health office at school. These are rapid results kits that are offered at no cost that are supported through funding from the State of Minnesota.
Providing information on COVID-19 vaccines and testing options is supportive of the goal to maintain in-person learning options for students through the end of the school year.
