Reminder: Subscribe to receive emergency text message alerts for staff

Text message photo(05/19/2025) In a recent emergency weather event impacting school operations across the district May 15, 2025 — text message notifications were sent to all staff members districtwide who had subscribed to receive text message alerts. 

At this time, just over 68% of Anoka-Hennepin employees have updated communication preferences in Skyward to receive emergency notifications via text message. These messages will include weather closings and delays, school emergencies and other important notices.

Verify that you are subscribed: From the Skyward employee access screen, select the “update phone number” icon and follow the on-screen instructions. Detailed instructions are provided for those who need them. Subscribers can opt out of the text messages by responding STOP to any message sent by the system.
