Open enrollment period for health insurance benefits begins May 27

(05/19/2025) The open enrollment period for health insurance benefits is May 27 through June 11 (11:59 p.m. CST), with an effective date of Sept. 1, 2025. Open enrollment materials will be delivered to each employee’s building mailbox by Tuesday, May 27.

Health insurance rates are increasing for the upcoming plan year. Please review the changes and determine which plan meets your and your family’s needs and budget. 

Employees will make open enrollment elections on the Worklife electronic enrollment system, which can be accessed by logging in to A-HConnect. You will be able to make elections for health insurance, supplemental life insurance, and medical and dependent care flexible spending accounts.

Starting May 29, the Insurance Department will hold information meetings about open enrollment for health insurance in the Staff Development Center at the Anoka-Hennepin Educational Service Center located at 2727 N Ferry St. in Anoka. 

Open enrollment meetings:

  • Thursday, May 29 at 4:45 p.m. (Erling Johnson Rooms C&D).
  • Tuesday, June 3 at 11 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. (Erling Johnson Rooms A&B).
  • Tuesday, June 10 at 4:45 p.m. (Erling Johnson Rooms A&B).

A video recording will be posted on the insurance website for those unable to attend a meeting.
