(10/11/2023) After a difficult battle with pancreatic cancer, Diane Gronewold, a teacher in Anoka-Hennepin Schools for 36 years, has passed away. She was 66 years old.

A beloved art teacher, Diane taught for nearly 20 years at Anoka High School and also taught at Hoover and Ramsey elementary schools. Along with teaching art, Diane was also an active pastel artist with a working art studio in her home. View her artist website.

A celebration of life service for Diane will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14 at the United Methodist Church of Anoka, where she spent the last 35 years serving as a music coordinator, organist, and accompanist. A visitation is scheduled at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home in Anoka from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13. View Diane’s obituary.
