(08/22/2024) Marching bands from across the district will convene in the Coon Rapids High School stadium for a new event  called the Anoka-Hennepin Marching Band Showcase. 

When: Saturday, Aug. 24

Time: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., gates open at Noon 

Tickets: $5, cash only, available at the gate

The showcase event includes a morning clinic for all marching band students along with the afternoon performance and feedback session. A team of judges will provide feedback for each performance as bands display their skill before other Anoka-Hennepin band members, families and community members. 

The event seeks to foster a positive community and climate between marching bands at district schools while continuing to develop quality programs across Anoka-Hennepin Schools.
