Election: learning schedule change for Tuesday, Nov. 3; in-person early voting wrapping up with select school sites serving as polling places
(10/14/2020) There is no school for all students on Tuesday, Nov. 3, due to the election. The first week of November, election week, Cohort A will attend school in-person Monday and Wednesday, while Cohort B will attend school in-person Thursday and Friday. Any student scheduled to distance learn on Tuesday, Nov. 3, would instead do so on Monday, Nov. 2. Please refer to the 2020-21 calendar for further details.
Early voting and election day information
Election Day 2020 is Tuesday, Nov. 3. In-person early voting is continuing until Nov. 2. View the Anoka County Elections website or the Hennepin County Elections website for information and early voting locations.
Mail-in absentee ballots are also available this year. If desired, voters may request a mail-in absentee ballot two weeks before election day (Tuesday, Oct. 20). Request a mail-in absentee ballot on the Minnesota Secretary of State website.
Some Anoka-Hennepin schools will serve as polling places on election day, Tuesday, Nov. 3. Voters who plan to vote in-person on election day are encouraged to verify your polling location via the Poll Finder tool on the Minnesota Secretary of State website, as some polling locations have changed this year.
