District to launch new employee recruitment website on Oct. 27

(10/24/2025) Anoka-Hennepin Schools is excited to launch a new employee recruitment website on Monday, Oct. 27. The new recruitment site is a part of a larger website redesign project that includes new district and school websites, planned to debut in December 2025.

Anyone can access the recruitment website by visiting jobs.ahschools.us or by clicking on “employment” on the current website. In December, the new district and school sites will provide easy access to the updated recruitment site. 

As employee recruitment and retention continue to be a strategic priority of the School Board and the district, the new website provides prospective employees with a one-stop shop full of resources and information about the benefits of working in Anoka-Hennepin Schools. 

Features:

  • The recruitment website is fully responsive, allowing users to access information whether using a desktop or mobile device easily.
  • Users can easily navigate the website to learn more about the district and the communities served.
  • Prospective employees can use the website to learn about current openings, departments, and roles within the district, how to apply for a job, how to become a substitute in the district, and where to learn more about job opportunities at local hiring events.
  • The website also features information about benefits offered to district employees, continuing education, and career advancement opportunities.

Design considerations included:

  • ADA compliance so information can be translated into multiple languages and used by audiences with visual or hearing impairments.
  • Ease of use on desktop and mobile devices.
  • Enhanced efforts to highlight recruitment.
  • Design updates to incorporate new brand elements for the district.
