(05/15/2025) Students from Anoka-Hennepin’s Secondary Technical Education Program (STEP) have spent the 2023-25 school years constructing a three-bedroom home that is now up for auction. This project at STEP has been conducted in Anoka-Hennepin Schools for more than 25 years. 

Built with pride: Students were involved in carpentry, electrical, siding and more as they built new skills and a 1,352 square-foot rambler that features three bedrooms and one full bathroom with a three-fourths master bath.

Details: The minimum bid is $73,000 plus 8.13% sales tax, which covers the materials cost of the project, and allows Anoka-Hennepin to offer the same project to students next year. 
The bid deadline is June 5, and the buyer is responsible for moving the house off-site by August 24, 2025.
