Good morning, Anoka Middle School for the Arts students and staff. Today is Wednesday, October 8, Day 2 on your schedule.

Picture Retakes are on Friday. We will be dismissing students by alphabet during the school day when to go to the auditorium for your picture. If you bought pictures please bring back the picture packet. If you have not had your picture taken we will need you to take it even if you are not going to buy pictures.
Just a reminder that tomorrow is College Gear Day! Rep your favorite college and show your future pride!
Come join Fellowship of Christian Athletes tomorrow morning at 7:30 the Fred Moore campus cafeteria for a time of prayer and scripture. You don’t have to be an athlete to attend- all are welcome so bring a friend!
FM The kick off for the Battle of the Books competition is THIS Friday, October 10th. If you are interested, please come to the meeting in the library during connections and sign up. If you don't know anything about the competition, but love to read and like "Jeopardy" style trivia games, then it might be for you. Students work in teams of three to answer questions about the books on the official list. Stop by the library to get a copy of the list and check out books to start reading

Meet Monday, October 13th in Mrs. Fancher's room, 201 from 3:05-5pm. There will be 5pm activity buses.

Today is a DEAR or Drop Everything and Read. Literacy and reading are such an important part of your education and we dedicate each Wednesday in connections as a time for the entire school to read on their own.
