5/6/24
Good morning, Anoka Middle School for the Arts students and staff. Today is Monday,
May 6, Day 1 on your schedule. This is Mr. Hagerty with your morning announcements.
Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America
and to the republic for which it stands,
one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Today for lunch: Chicken Alfredo Pasta
This week is National Teacher Appreciation Week. I want to personally thank each and every one of our teaching staff for their commitment and dedication to our Anoka Middle School community. We are celebrating and honoring all AMSA staff this week, so please take some time to say thank you to those educators that help and support you every day. A sincere thank you goes a long way.
Thank you to all the 8th graders who attended the dance and who helped decorate and clean up. It was a great time. I was proud of all of you and impressed how you started this tradition for AMSA 8th graders. Thank you WEB leaders and teachers for sponsoring this fun event!
Don't forget our signature event called the Arts Fest is next Thursday, May 16th. We hope you all can attend, but remember you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian that evening. All of our teachers will be in attendance that evening.
Good luck to all of our musicians and dancers who are preparing for their final Spring concerts over the next few weeks.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet this Wednesday, May 8th, in the cafeteria at 7:30AM. Join us for food, friends, and fun. Everyone is welcome!
Connections teachers, a reminder to check the intervention list for this morning's intervention time.
No matter who we are, no matter where we are…We are AMSA!
