HAPPY EARTH WEEK EVERYONE!  
Today's topic is composting!  Much of the food and other organic materials that we throw away can be turned into compost soil, which you can use on houseplants or on plants outside.  At lunch, you should only place your food scraps in the green compost bin..not plastic wrappers or milk cartons. At home you can also collect your food scraps, make a pile in your yard, turn the pile every once in a while and viola!  You've got compost!
