(08/24/2021) Hello Coon Rapids Middle School Families - Welcome to the 21-22 school year. We are looking forward to a year of getting back to some regular routines and we are excited to see all of our kids on a consistent basis, five days a week! This is my eleventh year as the principal at CRMS. In my time at CRMS I have seen many successful families at CRMS do these things:
1) Use the A-HConnect / Parent Vue app to track your child’s grades, lunch money, and communicate with teachers. Most successful families are checking this with their kids once a week. Directions are included in this newsletter.
2) Your child does not need a phone to be successful at CRMS. They will utilize other technology as needed during the school day. We have a no cell phone policy so that kids will interact with their teachers and peers. If your child does have a phone, we recommend you monitor their social media on a regular basis.
3) Communicate with staff on a regular basis about good things and concerns. If you are concerned about something please tell us right away. You can connect with any staff member and they will get you to the right place for support.
CRMS is a great community. We are “One Team” and your family is a big part of student success. Please let us know if you need anything during the school year!
