Message from the Principal, May 25, 2022
Hello, this is Mr. Hagerty from JMS with a few updates from your child’s school.
First, our teachers have just posted the last progress reports of the school year. There are only two weeks left of school, so students have little time to make up work to improve grades by the end of the school year on June 9. You can view this progress report in ParentVUE on A-HConnect.
Next, you will receive a letter in the mail early next week with instructions to view your Middle School child’s course selections for next school year in A-HConnect. Although teachers and rooms have not yet been assigned, we would like you to review the courses your child will be placed in and then call our guidance office at 763-506-5308 if you have questions or concerns.
Next, all students will be returning their school-issued Chromebook, charger, and bag at the end of the school year. This will happen the last week of school, so please prepare the equipment for turn-in so that we are able to reissue the technology in the Fall.
Next, students who ordered a 21-22 JMS Yearbook will receive it in advisory class on June 6 or 7. There are very few extra for purchase, but we will give 8th grade students the first opportunity to buy one.
And lastly, in regard to the school shooting in Texas, there is a school district response linked here: School district response to the Tragedy in Texas We will continue to love and care for our students, and I thank you for entrusting us with your children each and every day. The following link is a resource from the National Association of School Psychologists regarding talking to children about tragedies such as this.
