(This class is for any student who has not taken or not passed Driver Education class and the student is interested in getting a permit. If you already have a permit, you do not need this class)  

You must be at least 14 and ½ by June 25th, 2021.  

Dates: June 14th to June 25th Monday through Friday.         

Room:  Online - Must have access to a computer and internet.  The state variance requires camera and audio to be on. 

Times:  8 to 11 a.m.

Class size: Maximum of 64 students per session will be accepted on a first come-first served basis.

Registration opens on SchoolPay: May 10th  and closes May 28th. 

Cost:  $65.00 due at registration using SchoolPay. 

How to register online through SchoolPay:  Log into parent account at . (Student login does not work). If you do not have an A-H Connect parent login, contact 763-506-4357. Click on My Student Information/Synergy icon . Once in ParentVUE click on the “Fee” tab. Click on “Pay Fees” to enter the SchoolPay payment system. Click on “School Payments” to pay for Anoka High School Driver Education Summer School.  

Register deadline:  Students must register online using School Pay by May 28th.  (It will probably be full before this date, don’t wait to register).   

Refunds:  Refunds will not be granted after the first day of class. 

Permit Testing: Minnesota state law requires that anyone under the age of 18 must be financially enrolled in an approved course of behind the wheel driver education before he/she can become eligible to take a driver permit test. The $315 behind the wheel fee will be collected on a date to be determined from students wishing to take this test. Upon successful completion of the class along with behind the wheel enrollment and being at least 15 years of age, students will be eligible to take the state exam online.

State Attendance Policy:  Students must attend thirty (30) hours of classroom instruction.  Only one day of absence will be allowed and this absence must be made up.

Discipline Policy:  Habitual tardiness, refusal to work or cooperate is grounds for dismissal.  Smoking, use of drugs, possession of tobacco or drugs and/or fighting are all grounds for immediate exclusion from the class.
