With diplomas in hand, Technical High School students celebrate graduation
(06/09/2025) The Anoka-Hennepin Technical High School commencement signals a significant accomplishment for graduates, offering high school degree completion and a platform to launch into postsecondary education opportunities and career goals.
Anoka-Hennepin Technical High School, located on the campus of Anoka Technical College, guides students who did not graduate with their peers to diploma completion while also introducing pathways to post-secondary options. The school location, with convenient access to college programs, PSEO options and experienced staff, provides a seamless transition for students from high school to postsecondary opportunities.

School Board members Kacy Deschene, Dr. Michelle Langenfeld and Jeff Simon joined Superintendent Cory McIntyre in congratulating the students on their accomplishments. Steve Crittenden, interim vice president of academics and student affairs for Anoka Technical College represented that partnering organization.
Moving on: Five students were awarded scholarships to assist with post-secondary education:
- Trish Nguyen, Rotary Club of Anoka, $650
- Abdulhamid Nufays, Coon Rapids Lions Club, $500
- Abba Oke, Coon Rapids Lions Club, $1000
- Jinson Bunay Nava, Anoka-Technical College Foundation, 2,000
- Jayden Unterberger, Anoka-Technical College Foundation, 2,000
