First Week of School Message

Blaine High School

First Week of Classes

September 11, 2020

Blaine High School Families:

We hope this message finds you and your family well. Distance learning classes begin next week at Blaine High School, and we want to make sure your student is as prepared as possible.

On Monday, September 14th, classes  begin in an asynchronous format, meaning teachers will share activities for students to complete on their own time. The remainder of the week, Tuesday through Friday, students will attend classes in a synchronous format. This means students will log into their classes at their scheduled start time. Please click here for a visual with the start times.

By 7:40 a.m. on Monday morning, teachers will have messages in their Google Classrooms for students with the instructions for the day. All students should check their Anoka-Hennepin email account for access to their Google Classrooms. New students starting after September 14th will be contacted by their school counselor about their class schedule and log in information. If you have any questions or need additional support, please call 763.506.6500.

All classes will use Google Classroom. Resources to support students and families with Google Classroom are available here

If you weren’t able to visit Blaine High School for Welcome Week, please contact us at 763.506.6500 and we will coordinate Chromebook and instructional material pick up for you.

We look forward to working with you and your student this year. Enjoy your weekend!

Thank you,
