Good Evening CPHS Families,

 

It is difficult to believe the registration process for the 2019/2020 school year will begin tomorrow.  Students in grades 9, 10 and 11 will receive registration materials in their advisement class. Please ask your student about the information in the coming days.  

 

On Thursday, our school will begin the day with mini-sessions for all students in grades 9-11.  Thursday is a late start for 12th grade students. Seniors, be to school by 8:50am, in preparation for first period class to begin at 8:57am.  

 

Attention students who attend STEP, there is no late start or mini-sessions on Thursday for students who attend STEP in the morning.  If you attend STEP, on Thursday you will attend STEP as normally scheduled.

 

I have provided a detailed outline for the registration process in the email accompanying this message.  

Lastly this evening I wanted to say thank you for your continued patience with our construction.  If you have been on campus recently, you have seen quite a bit of development. It is exciting to see the changes take place.  None of this is possible without your amazing support, and for that I am extremely grateful.

2019-2020 Registration Information

 

Tuesday, January 8:  Registration Materials Distribution

All 9th, 10th and 11th grades students received registration materials for the 2019/20 school year during Advisement.  Please take some time to review this information with them.

 

Thursday, January 10:  Mini-Session And Late Start For 12th grade students

Our school day will begin with mini-sessions for all current 9th, 10th and 11th grade students.

This is a time for students to move around the building and receive information about courses of interest to them.  This has proven to be a great opportunity for students to acquire information pertaining to their course selection for next year.

 

**Seniors have a late start and should arrive by 8:50am, as 1st period will begin at 8:57am

 

**Attention Students Who Attend STEP:  You attend STEP as normally scheduled. You do not have a late start or attend mini-sessions at CPHS.

 

Friday, January 11:  Online Registration Window Opens

The online registration window opens for students to enter their 15 choices and 4 alternate choices.

Information pertaining to the online registration process was included in the materials distributed on January 8.

 

If you do not have access to the internet, the LMC will be open in the mornings for students to enter their requests.  

Monday (1/14):  After school in LMC

Tuesday (1/15):  Before school in LMC

 

Tuesday, January 15:  Course Request Deadline

All course requests must be entered into AH Connect and students must turn in their course request materials to their advisor on this day.  Any student who has not yet entered their course selections must still turn in their course request form.
