(4/12/25) 3, 2, 1, LEGO! 

Community Education hosted the Anoka-Hennepin Schools LEGO Robotics Challenge Tournament on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Oak View Middle School in Andover.

The competition was fierce, the robots were ingenious, and the energy was off the charts!

Middle school teams from across the district competed for the top prize as spectators watched. Students said it was a blast from start to finish! 

Team Placement

A huge congratulations to 'Team Coon Rapids' from Coon Rapids Middle School who took first with a mind-blowing score of 235!  

Hot on their heels was 'Team Things' from Northdale Middle School with a seriously impressive 200 points, securing a well-deserved second place! 

Rounding out our top three, 'Team Rusty' from Jackson Middle School snagged third place with a solid 190! 

And it wasn't just about the scores! A special shoutout to the 'Gigagiga Goobers' from Northdale Middle School who won the prestigious Paul Keeney Inspiration Award!  Their incredible work ethic and dedication was inspiring to all.
