Due to continuing extreme winter weather conditions during arrival time, all Anoka-Hennepin schools will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019. Please know that this decision has been made for the safety of students and staff as extreme winter weather conditions are expected in the morning hours. Anoka-Hennepin does not have the option for a late start due to the district’s large transportation program.
As weather conditions are expected to improve, high school after-school and evening activities may continue beginning at 2:30 p.m. Students involved in these activities should wait for a confirmation from their coach or advisor before attending the activity. The district will not resume elementary or middle school activities until Friday due to communication concerns.
School will be held on Friday as planned. This will be digital day “2” for elementary students.
