Celebrating National Parent Involvement Day, Thursday, Nov. 21
(11/20/19)The Anoka-Hennepin Schools Parent Involvement team thanks parents and other caring adults who make a difference in the life of a child each and everyday.
Parent involvement happens in many different ways throughout our schools leading to student success. Volunteering in Anoka-Hennepin Schools is one way parents and community members are involved and make an impact on student learning. Last school year, 11,233 volunteers contributed over 194,997 volunteer hours. The dedication of our volunteers is truly remarkable.
National Parent Involvement Day is a great time to highlight the powerful and invaluable contributions our school staff, parents, caregivers, and community members play in supporting our students’ learning at home and in school each day.
We thank our volunteers for everything they do to show support for our students, staff and community; and all of our parents and community members for the continued partnership and involvement in helping our next generation of learners succeed.
