FREE Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) sessions are now offered for families with children in elementary school.
(1/10/19)Parent education doesn’t stop when a child completes preschool. We realize that there is a need for family connections and parent education as children transition into elementary school. Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) offers FREE workshops and parent resources for families with children in elementary school.
Take a look at a few of the sessions coming up:
- Structure and Routines
- Tuesday, Feb. 4 from 5-6 p.m. at Evergreen Park
- Monday, Feb. 10 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Adams Elementary
- Positive Discipline
- Tuesday, Feb. 25 from 5-6 p.m. at Evergreen Park
- Thursday, Feb. 27 from 5:30-7 p.m. at Hoover Elementary
- Monday, Mar. 2 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Adams Elementary
- Screen time
- Thursday, Mar. 5 from 5-6 p.m. at Evergreen Park
- Stress and Anxiety
- Thursday, Mar. 26 from 5:30-7 p.m. at Hoover Elementary
Sessions are FREE. Limited child care is available. Sessions are tailored for families with children ages three to eight. Please RSVP so we can accommodate families with workshop materials, resources and child care by calling 763-204-5667.
