Adventures Plus school-age care accepting registrations for summer 2021 and 2021-22 school year

Student in school smiles. Adventures Plus registration details. Adventures Plus is the Anoka-Hennepin school-age child care program, coordinated by community education. School-age care is an option for all families in the school district with elementary school aged children. Care is available before- and after-school, and on non-school days including winter, spring and summer breaks. Priority registration for current families is now open, and new families may begin registering for child care for this summer (2021) and the 2021-22 school year, beginning Mar. 22.

The goal of the Adventures Plus program is to develop the whole child by providing choice-based educational and recreational opportunities. Programming is focused on youth engagement, with curriculum centered around creativity and the arts, language and literacy, cognitive, physical, social and emotional development.

  • Caring and qualified staff provide a high-quality experience for each child. Staff receive ongoing training, resources, and mentoring to aid in their professional development.
  • Convenient, in-school care makes the transition smooth for families and students.
  • Flexible schedule options, competitive prices.
