Register now for spring programs for youth: opportunities after-school, in the evening and over the weekend

Anoka-Hennepin Community Education is offering a variety of classes and activities after-school, in the evening and over the weekend this spring, for children to explore interests - in addition to athletics for middle school students. Both online and in-person opportunities are available, following health and safety guidance from the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and the Minnesota Department of Education.

Coming soon: Summer programs for youth

Anoka-Hennepin Communtiy Education is finalizing program schedules for summer 2021. Expect to see programming available for preschoolers up to grade 8 live on the community education registration website, soon this spring.

Anoka-Hennepin Community Education will offer fun activities and learning opportunities for children three- to fifteen-years of age. Programs are designed to appeal to the interests of youth while providing academic and social experiences that support learning and growth over the summer months:

  • Arts and crafts
  • Athletics, sports and recreation
  • Aquatics, swimming lessons, safety
  • Science, technology, engineering and math (STEM)
  • Language and performing arts
  • Field trips

Health and safety guidelines

Participants must wear face coverings at all times, and practice social distancing in alignment with StaySafeMN guidelines. Hand washing and sanitizing opportunities are available and encouraged. View health and safety protocols for in-person Community Education programs for youth.
