Adventures Bound program celebrates preschool graduation at Brookside and Johnsville Elementary Schools
(6/3/21) Families of Adventures Bound students at Brookside and Johnsville Elementary Schools were invited to attend end-of-year preschool graduation events, celebrating the accomplishments with outdoor gatherings, group song presentations, photo memory opportunities, refreshments and play time.
Adventures Bound is a full-day, school-year child care program offered for four-year-old children in its own dedicated classroom space at select Anoka-Hennepin Elementary Schools. The class is coordinated and staffed by the Adventures Plus school-age child care program, combining high quality child care with the Anoka-Hennepin Preschool curriculum, which offers families a unique opportunity to prepare their children for kindergarten.
The program follows the school year calendar, and Adventures Bound students will attend school through the last day of school, next week.
Registration for the 2021-22 school year is open, and a handful of openings are still available at each site. Eligible children must be four years of age by September 1, 2021. Drop-off is as early as 6:30 a.m. with pick-up by 6 p.m., each day. Non-school day care is available with K-5 students for an additional fee.
