Technology expansion and device distribution made available for kindergarten through grade three students
(04/03/2020) As Anoka-Hennepin’s distance learning plan evolved, the district expanded the plan to an online format for students in kindergarten, first, second, and third grades.
Between March 16 and 18, groups of Anoka-Hennepin staff worked hard to prepare more than 13,000 Chromebook laptops for students who needed one to take home to support distance learning during the state-mandated school closure.
Anoka-Hennepin began implementing its distance learning plan on March 30 and is committed to providing the best distance learning experience for students. In a distance learning setting, the teachers and curriculum remain the same, only the method of delivery changes.
