How to volunteer
Volunteers may contact the school district volunteer services office to be assigned to a school with specific needs, or they may volunteer at a specific school.
All volunteers must complete:
- An online volunteer application for each school where they wish to volunteer, and
- An online criminal record history release (CRHR) form
Volunteer application form
- The online form can be completed by clicking the volunteer application link. By completing the application, a volunteer profile will be created for you. The VSC will then contact you letting you know your profile has been activated and you are approved to volunteer.
- Submit in person: If needed, a print version of the school's application is available. Please ask the VSC at your school for more information.
Criminal record history release (CRHR) form
As part of the volunteer application process, Anoka-Hennepin Schools must obtain information and permission to conduct background checks on your criminal record history through Trusted Employees. You can find the school specific link to Trusted Employees secure website to the upper right side of this page. Follow all of the prompts and provide all requested information including signing on the online electronic release. If you have any questions, please contact Trusted Employees at 1-888-389-4023.
