Device Protection Plan available to students assigned Chromebooks
(07/28/2022) Technology plays an important role in preparing students for life, and Chromebooks are utilized as a daily learning tool in Anoka-Hennepin middle and high school classrooms. Anoka-Hennepin students in grades 6-12 are assigned a Chromebook from the school district to ensure access to technology systems that support classroom learning.

Low enrollment causes AHVA to discontinue operations for grades K-8 for the 2022-23 school year
(06/14/2022)Â Anoka-Hennepin Virtual Academy (AHVA) program will discontinue operation for grades K-8 the 2022-23 school year. Students enrolled in the AHVA program will be re-enrolled in the school that serves their attendance area for next school year.

District to host hiring event for operational positions Feb. 15

Nine district educators named candidates for Minnesota Teacher of the Year
(01/26/2023) Candidates for the 2023 Minnesota Teacher of the Year award have been announced and Anoka-Hennepin has nine educators who were nominated. The nine Anoka-Hennepin teachers are among 131 candidates for the award statewide.

Mid-year leadership workshop creates opportunities for districtwide feedback, planning for 2023-24 school year
