BHS senior Adhithya Anandaraj named National Merit Scholarship finalist
(02/15/2023) All four of Anoka-Hennepin’s seniors who were named National Merit Scholarship semifinalists in September have advanced to be named finalists for one of the 7,250 scholarships of up to $2,500 for college.

District to host hiring event for operational positions March 22
(03/15/2023) The Anoka-Hennepin School District will host an in-person hiring event for operational positions Wednesday, March 22 from 2-6 p.m. in the Erling Johnson Rooms A and B at the Educational Service Center (ESC), located at 2727 N Ferry St. in Anoka (enter Door 7).

Announcing recipients of 2022-23 Above & Beyond Awards
(03/03/2023) Thirteen outstanding district employees have been selected to receive the Anoka-Hennepin School District’s 2022-23 Above & Beyond Award. The 2023 Above & Beyond Awards ceremony to honor these 13 exceptional employees will take place Wednesday, March 29 at the Educational Service Center.Â

Winners of the annual bus safety poster contest to be recognized at transportation department meeting
(02/24/2023) The Anoka-Hennepin transportation department held its 28th annual school bus safety poster contest this winter, which began during Winter School Bus Safety Week (Jan. 9-13). This year’s theme was Safely Rolling to my Destination.

(02/24/2023) The School Board will convene for its regularly scheduled meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 27, at the Sandburg Education Center, located at 1902 Second Ave. in Anoka. Watch the meeting live online, or on local cable television.Â
