Varsity Football start times set for 7 p.m.
(09/03/2025) Varsity home football games will begin at 7 p.m. for the remainder of the 2025 football season following school board direction. This includes home games for all schools in Anoka-Hennepin: Andover, Anoka, Blaine, Champlin Park and Coon Rapids.

SUN Bucks program available for free/reduced-eligible students
(06/04/2025) The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced the SUN Bucks program. This income-based food support program provides families $120 per eligible school-aged child to buy groceries when school is out for the summer.

Northdale Middle School students compete at Family, Careers and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) State
(04/11/2025) The students are the first to compete at the state level. FCCLA focuses on service projects and competitions for proficiency and achievement in chapter and individual projects, leadership skills and career preparation.

Device Protection Plan available to students assigned Chromebooks
(07/28/2022) Technology plays an important role in preparing students for life, and Chromebooks are utilized as a daily learning tool in Anoka-Hennepin middle and high school classrooms. Anoka-Hennepin students in grades 6-12 are assigned a Chromebook from the school district to ensure access to technology systems that support classroom learning.

My Vision of Kindness: students invited to participate in annual Kindness Poster Contest
(10/01/2025) As a part of October’s National Bullying Prevention campaign, Anoka-Hennepin is excited to announce the 22nd Annual Kindness Poster Contest. The district invites students at all grade levels to submit their best artwork for the competition.

(09/16/2025) The Anoka-Hennepin School District will host an in-person hiring event for operational and student support positions on Tuesday, Oct. 7, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at Coon Rapids High School. The hiring event will take place in the atrium located inside the main entrance (Door 1) of the school.

Phase 3 budget reduction and realignment process begins, community meetings set
(09/12/2025) An initial $15 million budget gap has been narrowed, with a remaining target of $8 million in reductions and realignments identified for the 2026-27 school year.
