Nine district educators named candidates for Minnesota Teacher of the Year
(01/26/2023) Candidates for the 2023 Minnesota Teacher of the Year award have been announced and Anoka-Hennepin has nine educators who were nominated. The nine Anoka-Hennepin teachers are among 131 candidates for the award statewide.

Mid-year leadership workshop creates opportunities for districtwide feedback, planning for 2023-24 school year

School Board meeting set for Monday, Jan. 23

Virtual online school

Virtual online elementary school starting up in the 2021-22 school year
For students and families who want to continue virtual learning next school year, Anoka-Hennepin will offer formal elementary school virtual online programs.
Program details, information sessions and applications for the school will be available this spring as plans are finalized.
The schools will offer the Anoka-Hennepin curriculum, provide student support services and follow district policies for in-district transfers, open enrollment and student performance standards. Computers will be provided to students who need them and learning will be supported by an enhanced technology platform.
The district currently operates comprehensive online learning options with the StepAhead Online High School and COMPASS Online programs.
