CBPA: Three Rivers Parks partnership brings the learning outdoors
(09/30/25) When fourth-grade students at Champlin-Brooklyn Park Academy (CBPA) for Math and Environmental Science visited nearby Mississippi Gateway Regional Park to explore a learning unit on landforms and landmarks, it represented the start of a year of learning outdoors made possible through a partnership with the Three Rivers Park District.

Champlin-Brooklyn Park Academy recognized as the Junior Master Gardener Program of the Month
(09/26/2025) Champlin-Brooklyn Park Academy for Math and Environmental Science (CBPA) was recently recognized as the Junior Master Gardener (JMG) National Program of the Month.

SUN Bucks program available for free/reduced-eligible students
(06/04/2025) The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced the SUN Bucks program. This income-based food support program provides families $120 per eligible school-aged child to buy groceries when school is out for the summer.

My Vision of Kindness: winners of annual kindness poster contest announced
(11/05/2025) As a part of October’s National Bullying Prevention campaign, Anoka-Hennepin held its 22nd annual kindness poster contest. This year’s theme was My Vision of Kindness. Students were encouraged to create a poster with that message in mind, and they delivered a variety of themes to spread kindness in their schools.

High school students and families can plan with “Financing Your Future” event Nov. 19
(11/04/2025) Families across Anoka-Hennepin are invited to learn practical ways to make college more affordable at an upcoming "Financing Your Future" event held at Coon Rapids High School and hosted by Anoka-Hennepin Schools Career and College Specialists. The event is free and open to the public.

(10/22/2025) Parent/guardian representation is needed at upcoming Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC) meetings for the upcoming school year from families with students of all age levels.
