(06/08/2023) Following the annual track and field day at Franklin Elementary School, the school held a closing ceremony on June 2 to celebrate 151 years of Franklin being a school site.

In addition to dancing and ice cream, principal Sheryl Ray, fifth grade teacher Don Gawreluk and members of the fifth grade class spoke to students and families in attendance. Ray was presented with a retirement gift from the staff.
