    Olivia and Maverick Dargis

     

    Hello! I'm Olivia Dargis, an English teacher and one of the yearbook co-advisors at Blaine High School.  This fall marks my sixth year at Blaine High School and the start of my fourteenth year of teaching.  

    For students looking for extra help on course content or a specific assignment, I am available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 to 3:30.  I can also be available at alternative times by appointment.

    Education: B.A. English-teaching, University of Northern Iowa; M.A. English Rhetoric and Writing, Saint Cloud State University
     
    Teaching Experience:  Frazee High School (2007-2011), Pierz Healy High School (2013-2014), Phoenix Learning Center (2014-2015), Irondale High School (2015-2017), Blaine High School (2017-present)
     
    Hobbies: Reading, driving, searching for a television show I love as much a Chuck, running, cleaning (seriously), theater

    Goals:  To publish (a creative or nonfiction piece), to earn my doctorate in English Education, to run a full marathon
