• Welcome to Blaine's award-winning debate program.  The purpose of our program is to connect, support, inspire and empower students through competitive speech and debate. 

    Debate happens in the fall and ends on the first weekend in December.  Practices start when the school year begins.

    Description of Activity:


    The Blaine debate season is from early September through January. Students can participate for $100. Contact the school's activities director if the fee could be a barrier to participation.

    Meeting times and places:

    Mondays and Wednesdays after school until the Activity bus leaves.  We practice in room 109.

    Tournaments are on Saturdays from the end of September until the first weekend in January.
