Why do we hold graduation at Mariucci Arena?
-
3M Arena at Mariucci is an enclosed facility that ensures the ceremony will be held as scheduled with no impact from inclement weather.
-
The facility offers unrestricted seating for families, no need to limit tickets for family members.
-
Professional audio/visual support provides a high quality experience for audience members.
-
Logistics support for school staff with year-end ceremony - set up of chairs and clean-up of facility during busy time of the school year saves overtime costs and rental fees involved with on-campus events.
-
Off-campus ceremonies at Mariucci ensure a consistent experience for students across the district whose schools choose off-site graduations.
-
Mariucci Arena is the closest and most affordable option for off-site graduations.
-
The district makes the selection for off-site venues a year in advance and signs a contract with the facility.
-
3M Arena at Mariucci hosts graduation ceremonies for nearly 20 other metro high schools.
