2021-22 Above & Beyond Awards winner: Allan Klemz
(04/07/2022) Allan Klemz’s title at Blaine High School is school monitor, but to the students and staff at BHS, he is much more. Klemz averages five miles a day making sure the students are safe and the building is secure, but it’s the relationships built that goes the distance.

District to participate in the Summer Food Service Program
(05/27/2022) The Anoka-Hennepin School District will participate in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) once again this summer. Meals will be provided to all children 18 and under, free of charge.Â

School letters presented to 11 Anoka-Hennepin skaters
(05/27/2022) Anoka High School’s Maisie Stover and Coon Rapids High School senior Julia Dutton and junior Paige Lossing were presented school letters during a special ceremony held during the Coon Rapids Ice Show on April 30. The skaters were part of group of 11 student athletes from Anoka-Hennepin schools recognized with a school letter in 2022.Â

EL families gather for fun and information at Rum River Library
(05/26/2022) On May 20, Anoka-Hennepin English Language (EL) cultural liaisons Kari Xiong-Carlson and Victoria Campoverde partnered with Anoka County Libraries to invite EL families from Andover and Anoka cluster schools to the Rum River Library for a special event.
