Welcome to my classroom website

My name is Douglas Ayega. I have taught high school Biology and Agriculture for twenty-two years and hold a Minnesota teaching licensure in the two subjects. This is my fifth year at Anoka-Hennepin District - Blaine High School, where I teach Agriculture.  

I obtained my Bachelor of Science from Egerton University, a Graduate Licensure in Life Science (Biology) from University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, a Master's of Science in Biology from University of Nebraska - Kearney, and a Ph.D. in Learning Technologies (Biology Focus) from University of North Texas in Denton.

I am married with three children. My wife is a Registered Nurse/Public Health Nurse in the State of Minnesota. My son graduated from Blaine High School and is a computer science major at University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. Currently, my daughter is a sophomore at Blaine High School. The youngest is in 5th grade at Dayton Elementary School.

I enjoy watching soccer and am a great fan of Manchester United!
