- Would you like to arrange classes to suit your schedule?
If you answered "yes" to more than half of these questions, Anoka-Hennepin Virtual Academy might be for you.

Enrollment step one: Application
*Applications are currently being accepted for the School Year 2022-23.
- For high school students, please fill out the AHVA 9-12 application. Anoka-Hennepin will conduct virtual open house events to provide an overview of the schools, answer questions and help parents/guardians and students determine if this option is the right fit for their educational needs. Virtual open houses will be 60 minutes in length or shorter. Anoka-Hennepin Virtual Academy will contact families to schedule open house events upon receipt of enrollment materials.
- High school students from outside of Anoka-Hennepin: General Statewide Enrollment Options Application and Student Registration Form.
The virtual online schools will offer the Anoka-Hennepin curriculum, provide student support services and follow district policies for in-district transfers, open enrollment and student performance standards. Computers will be provided to students who need them and learning will be supported by an enhanced technology platform. There is no additional cost to attend the virtual online schools in Anoka-Hennepin. Enrollment step two: Registration
AHVA will let you know when they receive your paperwork and you have been approved for enrollment. An experienced counselor will then help you register for classes.
