Learning model update, additional review needed prior to announcement
(02/17/2021) The district received an update today from the State of Minnesota that provides options to offer in-person learning for middle and high school students by March 8. At this time, every middle and high school student in Anoka-Hennepin who wants to attend school in person has the option to do so in the hybrid model and families who prefer the distance learning model will continue to have that option.
The district has been considering options to bring secondary students back more than two days a week and this new guidance encourages this type of change. Anoka-Hennepin will be reviewing the updated guidance and communicating an action plan as soon as possible. Please remain alert for a message with more detailed information no later than Friday, Feb. 26.
Thank you for your attention to this message and your ongoing support of our schools.
