Today is a day across our country and in our community when we remember and honor President Jimmy Carter.

Thursday, January 9 has been designated as a National Day of Mourning to honor President Carter's legacy. President Carter served as the 39th President of the United States from 1977 to 1981 and passed away recently at the age of 100.

In tribute, the United States flag will be flown at half-staff on our outdoor flagpole in honor of President Carter for 30 days, until Wednesday, January 29 at sundown.

Homework Club is today after school. You must have homework or a book to attend. Please contact Ms. Mantey with any questions.
