My name is Mark Van Voorhis and I am the principal of Andover Elementary School. Andover is a northern suburb of Minneapolis, and is part of the Anoka-Hennepin School District. In this school, we have a student population of 1,300 students in grades kindergarten through five.

My goals as the principal of Andover are to make sure all of our students feel safe and respected, and for each student to be presented with a rigorous educational experience in which they can thrive both academically and socially. Another goal of mine is to create a partnership between school and home that will provide all of our students with an individualized educational program that will best meet their needs. Together we will help every child succeed.
