Grading and assessments
Assessments will continue as directed by the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE). Administration of these will happen during any learning scenario – in-person or at-home learning. Check out the Research, Evaluation and Testing site for the latest information, ahschools.us/testing.
The grading plan for the 2020-21 school year, will be the traditional formal system – A-F grades for secondary students and standards-based grades for elementary students. “Pass” (P) or “No Grade” (NG) will not be widely used options this school year. Traditional settings in which P or NG may continue to be used are advisory and some special education courses. Please reach out to your teacher or school principal with questions or concerns on this.
