Crooked Lake teacher Kerri Deile named KS95 Teacher of the Week
(05/25/2023) A teacher in Anoka-Hennepin for 17 years, Kerri Deile of Crooked Lake Elementary School, has been selected as KS95 Teacher of the Week. She accepted the award in front of her kindergarten classroom.

(09/23/2022) Anoka-Hennepin Schools presented proposed attendance area maps and collected community feedback at a community meeting held Sept. 22 at Andover High School. No attendance boundary changes are proposed for schools in the Andover cluster.

Coon Rapids Middle School student wins national school bus safety poster contest
(09/20/2023) Avrie Siedschlag, now a seventh grade student at Coon Rapids Middle School (CRMS), was named the winner of the 2022-23 National School Bus Safety Week Poster Contest, the National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT) announced Sept. 18.

Famous musical duo pulls strings, invites Champlin Park High School musicians to set the stage for their show at the Orpheum
(09/20/2023) Five Champlin Park High School students shared the stage at the Orpheum in Minneapolis with The Piano Guys, an internationally known musical duo famous for their YouTube channel, which blends classical and popular music and films in whimsical locations around the world.

Students start off a ‘good year’ cleaning up the Rum River
(09/20/2023) Students at Andover and Blaine high schools recently teamed up to help a community in need. After learning used car tires were being illegally dumped in the Rum River, students from both schools developed a plan to clean up the mess.

School Board meeting set for Monday, September 25.
The Anoka-Hennepin School Board will convene for its regularly scheduled meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, September 25 at the Sandburg Education Center, located at 1902 Second Ave. in Anoka.
