Lincoln Elementary for the Arts named Magnet Schools of America School of Excellence
(01/23/2025) Lincoln Elementary School for the Arts has been named a 2025 Magnet Schools of America (MSA) School of Excellence. MSA national merit awards are given to magnet schools that demonstrate a commitment to high academic standards, curriculum innovation, successful desegregation and diversity efforts, and strong parent and community involvement.

It's more than just free meals! Apply for educational benefits for the 2024-25 school year
(07/26/2024) All Anoka-Hennepin families are encouraged to apply for the educational benefits program for the 2024-25 school year. A new application must be submitted each school year. The enrollment window for the 2024-25 school year begins Aug. 1, 2024.

Students, principals plunge to support Special Olympics
(03/27/2025) Over 220 students and three district principals synched efforts to raise money for Special Olympics at Champlin Park High School (CPHS) on Thursday, Mar. 27 by ‘plunging’ into a giant tank of water outside the school for its annual ‘Polar Plunge.’

Circulatory experts at Hoover Elementary help save lives by hosting a blood drive
(03/27/2025) On Feb. 26, Hoover Elementary School - Biomedical, Health Sciences, and Engineering hosted a community blood drive welcoming school and district staff, parents and community members.

Blaine High School advances to Math League state tournament
(03/27/2025) Blaine High School advanced to the Minnesota State High School Mathematics League tournament held March 10, 2025 at Spring Lake Park High School. The Bengals team included eight students plus one alternate.

School bus safety poster contest winners recognized
(03/27/2025) The Anoka-Hennepin transportation department held its 30th annual school bus safety poster contest this winter, which began during Winter School Bus Safety Week.The winners were recognized at the district transportation safety committee meeting on March 19.
