(07/26/2019) Anoka-Hennepin is gearing up for an exciting school year. Here’s a few back-to-school notes as August approaches:   

Over the next week, families will be receiving the back-to-school edition of the Focus newsletter in their mailboxes. This will include information on open houses, a calendar for the upcoming 2019-20 school year, as well as guidance from the child nutrition and transportation departments. 

A heaping amount of back-to-school information is on district and school websites. Go to ahschools.us/bts or click the “About us” menu and select “Back-to-school” on any school website. There you’ll find supply lists, start/dismissal times, photo days, conference dates, activities registration, and more. 

Last, but certainly not least, back-to-school forms will be filled out completely online this year. Parents/guardians, keep an eye out for a detailed district email in early August. Today’s Backpack Online article also shares a way to prepare for a smooth transition.
