AHEF selling raffle tickets for a pair of tickets to the Nov. 25 Vikings/Packers game
(09/27/18) The Anoka-Hennepin Educational Foundation (AHEF) is selling raffle tickets for the chance to win a pair of lower-level tickets to the Minnesota Vikings game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, Nov. 25. Kickoff is set for 7:20 p.m. at U.S. Bank Stadium. Cost for each raffle ticket is $10. Raffle tickets will go on sale Monday, Oct. 1.
The AHEF raises funds to create and enrich opportunities for Anoka-Hennepin students. Donations to AHEF enhance early childhood education, expand talent and opportunity development and increase career and college readiness.
“Our donors fund the innovative ideas that our teachers and staff identify as needs or wants in their classrooms and buildings,” said Tess DeGeest, executive director of AHEF. “The more our donors give, the more our teachers and staff can do to create opportunities for our students. These tickets were donated to AHEF so we decided to raffle them to raise more funds for our students.”
Raffle tickets can be purchased (cash or check payment only) at the AHEF office (Room 119) inside Door 1 at the Educational Service Center, located at 2727 N Ferry St., in Anoka. The winner will be drawn at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2. Participants do not need to be present to win.
